Classroom Management
I believe in reciprocity between classroom management and student engagement. I believe that strong classroom management is the foundation of a successful art room. By emphasizing structure and stability, students feel safe to experiment with their ideas and art-making. In the same breath, engaging lessons encourage order in the art room. When students are focused and eager to learn, they take ownership of their actions, their art, and their tools.
