  2. VA:Cr2.1.6 a. Demonstrate openness in trying new ideas, materials, methods and artmaking approaches in making works of art and design.

  3. VA:Cr2.2.6 a. Practice conservation, care, safety, and clean-up of art materials, tools, and equipment.

High School Double Exposures

Big Idea: Home

Essential Question: How can you illustrate your experience of home? What makes a home?

Focus Artists/Concepts: Andreas Lie, Wanda Wulz, Mind Mapping, Christoffer Relander, Symmetry, Framing, Leading Lines, and Rule of Thirds. 

Final Artwork: Double Exposure Photograph on Adobe Photoshop and Mind Map

Big Idea: Identity

Essential Question: How can you visually communicate your identity?

Focus Artists/Concepts: Stanley Chow, Nelly Camacho, Anghel Sann, Beto Garza, the Cubists (Picasso, Gris, Braque), Dave Murray, Disney Color Theory, Toby Allen, Movie Geometry, and Layers. 

Final Artwork: Vector Portrait on Adobe Illustrator
